Andrew Guzman (Aesop) Although this is Andrew's first production with the Brown Bag Players, he is no stranger to the stage. He has been in numerous productions around all of Orange County throughout the span of over 7 years. Some of his favorite roles include Toad (A Year with Frog and Toad), Doody (Grease), Willy Wonka (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) and his most recent role, playing Harry Witherspoon in the dark musical comedy, Lucky Stiff. He hopes that you will sit back, relax, and enjoy the fables!
Deva Gregory (Edie/Donkey/Owl) is a graduate of Walla Walla Community College where she earned her AA in Theatre. She is currently a senior at Brandman University majoring in Liberal Studies. Ms. Gregory has performed in several shows in Washington and California, three under the direction of the talented Megan Weaver. In Washington, she studied classical voice and piano for eight years. Ms. Gregory has taught the Children's Theatre Workshop's 2012 spring Musical Theatre class and serves on the Board of Directors.
Kirsten Dierking (Betty/Fox) has been with CTW for over 8 years. She started out performing in their Brown Bag shows, where she played such classic characters as Cinderella, Maid Marian, and Snow White. Kirsten has also been a teacher for CTW's kids classes for several years and she currently teaches the 4,5, and 6 year old drama class. Kirsten has a B.A. in English from Cal State Fullerton and performs in local community theaters around the Orange County area.
Kyle Seitz (Director/Charles/Crow) is an alumnus of Children’s Theater Workshop, serves on its Board of Directors, and has been apart of Brown Bag Players since the early 2000’s, appearing in such roles as the Tin Man (Wizard of Oz), the Frog Prince (The Frog Prince), Crossbun (Treasure Island) and Wally Wolfe (The 3 Bears Meet The Neighbors, The 3 Little Pigs and its sequel). Kyle has recently graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles and will be co-starring in the upcoming comedy film It’s Good to be a Gangster, which shoots in August with Eddie Deezen of Grease fame.
Megan Weaver (Doris/Fox) is the Assistant Director of Childrenʼs Theatre Workshop, serves on its Board of Directors, and teaches the Film Stars and Rising Stars programs. Megan is a graduate of both the University of California – Irvine and Chapman Universityʼs Dodge College of Film & Media Arts where she earned an MFA in Film Production – Directing. She has written and directed several short films including her award-winning thesis film, Without Wings, which stars Academy Award nominee, Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Enderʼs Game). Megan is also an avid actress and stage director. Her most recent endeavors include directing Merry Wives of Windsor at Camino Real Playhouse and starring as Shelby Latcherie in Steel Magnolias. Megan teaches at the Orange County School of the Arts (OSCA) and is an Adjunct Professor in Cinema Arts at Vanguard University.
Sabrina Paris (Amy/Hare) is 15 years old and has been acting since she was 7. She has been in numerous productions. Her most recent credits include Paige turner in Dirty Deeds at the depot, Giancinta in Scapino, and Simple/Robin in The Merry Wives of Windsor directed by Megan Weaver. She is currently a nominee for a CaminOvation Awards at Camino Real Playhouse. She has been in 2 short films, an extra in Lazy Jane directed by Sean Dunlap, and Amber in Bully directed by Megan Weaver done through CTW's Film Stars program.
Valeri Liebig (Fern/Tortoise) is so excited to be back with Brown Bag Players where she has performed the roles of Snow White in the traveling production Snow White, Glinda the Good Witch in Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz and Witch Double Ugly in The Princess and the Pea among many other roles. Before becoming a wife and the mom of two energetic boys, Valeri performed professionally on stage as well as in film and television. Her credits include spots with Disney, the city of Anaheim and Nintendo Power Magazine. Valeri loves singing, tap dancing and performing as a creative outlet as she is currently pursuing a MA degree in Clinical Psychology.
